About the line
A phone number and a website that put you in touch with a Florida-licensed pest control company in your part of Miami-Dade, in English or Spanish, and tell you what a proper treatment looks like before anyone arrives.
What we are
Miami Pest Line is a referral line. When you call the number on this site or send the request form, we pass your information to an independent, Florida-licensed pest control company that serves your area, and they contact you to set the visit. From that point on you deal with them directly.
We built it because pest control is sold by the season and by the scare, and most people calling with roaches in the kitchen or a rat in the ceiling have no way to tell a treatment that reaches the colony from a spray along the baseboard. The pages here describe what the licensed version of each job looks like, what to do before the visit, and what the proposal should say, so the money goes to the work that fixes it.
What we are not
We are not a pest control company, a fumigation company, or a wildlife trapper, and we do not employ technicians. We do not perform or supervise work, apply any product, set or quote prices, collect payment, or provide a warranty. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or real estate advice. The licensed company is responsible for its license, insurance, workmanship, products, and pricing. If something goes wrong with a job, the company is who you call, and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is who you complain to.
How the companies are chosen
Companies that take calls from this line hold a Florida pest control business license under Chapter 482, operate under a certified operator, work in Miami-Dade, and serve Spanish-speaking households as well as English-speaking ones. We do not verify licenses or insurance on your behalf; you should. Ask for the license number, check it on the FDACS website, and ask for proof of liability insurance before work begins. For fumigation, ask who the licensed fumigator is; it is often a separate company from the one that sold you the job.

What you give us goes to the licensed company that takes your request and to the systems we use to route and record calls and messages. We do not sell it. See the privacy policy for the details.
